The corporations are strong in this one.
Wow, do you have thinner brush maybe?
Everytime I go to a fast food restaurant I see people slacking off and avoiding work, ditto for the airport, traffic crews, Home Depot, etc.
Can you think of any good things unions have given the American worker? Do you think corporate America would have willingly given over the wage and benefit concessions the unions have won?
Yes there are bad aspects to unions but unless you run in Trump circles, your bread is more buttered by the efforts of unions than corps.

Myself I would gladly make two, three or five extra trips per year to the dealership for repairs in order to buy as American as I can.
My experience has been bad with Japanese vehicles and good with US vehicles throught the 80s, 90s and 2000s. So this is not really something I have had to do, but I would. I’m just so sick of seeing American manufacturing gutted.
So how many extra trips would you be willing to make to throw your fellow American worker a bone?
Put a number on your national pride or lack thereof.

I have a 1957 Chevy Bel Air that runs like a dream. It’s over 40 years old and built with PRIDE and QUALITY parts. This thing is a tank with a cast iron block….
My Dad has a 1997 Silverado and has had nothing but problems from day one….
It’s called economic obsolescence. They make these things with limited life spans so they can bend you over at the parts counter and eventually have to get a new car….cheap shit plastic parts waiting to break….
That 57′ will last 100 years…..
