If take the ascii decimal number representation of the characters in the name and put them together, you’d would have in sequenceSatan’s number , the third prime number, and a number describing a sex act[/quote]
Nice FLU. If it’s not showing up on the WARN list was it less than 50? Actually from what I see if a company announces layoffs, hands out pink slips, but there is some kind of severance, (say 2 months for the fun of it), the actual WARN notice can be put out two months from today right?

This is 100% correct – no WARN notices but layoff victims get 60 days severance. Actually, as I understand the state did impose a penalty on our company even though they were providing 60 months pay.
Here’s how I view the layoffs:
1. No charge number for an extended period of time -> your getting RIFed. They will give you a few months to get on a new project, but if you don’t get picked up your gone.
2. Like flu said a lot of operations are moving back east (in our case) – if you happen to be in a group that is being relocated or consolidated usually to the DC area you are very vulnerable.
3. I also watched them slash and thrash through middle management as well.
As for me I have been looking, but as we all know it’s a tough job market. Not to mention I owe more on my house than it’s worth even though I bought nearly 7 years ago.

I’ve seen these games played so many times … If I were to guess, I’d say it’s not showing up under WARN because the RIF probably fell under the magic number…(The first two RIFs I believe was over the number so there was a WARN reporting for those)…And like I said, this most likely isn’t the last one. You can put two and two together….That’s all i have to say for now. I don’t want them to change what I think they are trying to do. In fact, I want them to walk right into it, if you know what I mean.
Note to self: add this company to my personal blacklist of companies never to work for. HP is another company that is on the top of my list.
