O.K. this is not an allegorical play about Freddie and Fannie but it probably could be.

The question is:
What is the probability that 8 baby chicks allegedly sexed to 95% hens turns to be 6 roosters and 2 hens?

The winner of today’s math problem can have as many steroid free roosters as they want up to 5. I am keeping one so that the hens, Ginger and Maryanne, have a “friend”. I am trying to decide if I will name the surviving rooster Temeculaguy, Allan from Fallbrook or Gandalf.

Actually the probability question gets even wierder. I bought two breeds of chickens, 5 of 1 type and 3 of another,both types allegedly sexed to 95%. 5 of 5 of the one breed was a rooster. Ginger Maryanne and the other rooster are all the same breed.
