Not that we all didn’t know this years ago, but by the very logic you’ve used in this thread, your’re the biggest racist on this site.
Oh right – when you make generalizations about a race they are enlightened and for a noble cause. The rest of us are just “racist.”
You really don’t seem to understand the definition of “culture” – or more likely only want to use it when it’s convenient for your argument.
Just because you can point out an individual exception doesn’t mean a culture doesn’t exist.

Wow, you read wikipedia.
Dude, you earned the SJW title. Own it.

I haven’t yet had the chance to research the names on Trump’s “SC nominee” list but I suspect that up to half of them are actually “moderates” and IIRC, at least two of them were women. As far as “birth control” and early term abortion ever being outlawed, I just don’t see that constellation.
It doesn’t matter what you suspect. None of them are moderates. All are staunchly right wing along the lines of blatantly partisan Samuel Alito.
The reason you don’t see other things is because you haven’t looked. Republican state legislatures across the country, strongly influenced by the religious right, have passed hundreds of laws every single year in the last decade that limit abortion rights, and put women’s lives at risk. Did you see what I said earlier about the number of abortion providers in Kansas? Zero. Some states have 3 day waiting periods, and require doctors to have admitting privileges in nearby hospitals. So women that don’t live near hospitals may have to travel for hours. Their goal? Return women to their biblical role as chattel. That’s what Trump will mean to women. That’s what you’re voting for.
June 4, 2016 at 11:02 PM #798366utcsoxParticipantI don’t think it’s fair to automatically characterize Trump supporters as racists. There is more nuance than that. The voters need to weight a candidate character, philosophy, leadership, policy position in balance. It also need to be weighted against its opponents, the other primary contenders and ultimately Hillary Clinton.
Republicans electorate has concluded with all his flaws, Trump represents the best of what the party has to offer. Most elected Republican officers concur and have endorsed Trump. To me, this is inexplicable. I don’t think any reasonable analysis will show that Trump is the better candidate compare to his primary opponents or Hillary. Republican party of now is not a normal political party. It stands for nothing but winning the election.

You make no sense. Nothing I said is racist. Nothing I said attributes anything to race. I made exactly zero generalizations about race. You really should learn what the word means. I thought you were a bright guy. Apparently not.
I doubt most of that is in Wikipedia. You should be ashamed of even using it. I’m quite sure you have no idea of how it’s been used. You think racism doesn’t exist? You think sexism doesn’t exist? You think there’s no real inequality in the world? That’s the ideology of those that created the legend the modern SJW ideology. It’s legend man. It doesn’t exist.

June 5, 2016 at 10:33 AM #798386UCGalParticipantThe Union-Trib had an editorial today (Sunday) recommending GOP voters write in Ronald Reagan.
I thought that was interesting.

I’d agree. If he just stuck to attacking Hillary on policy and transgressions he’d probably do alright, but he just can’t seem to help himself. A simple we don’t comment on pending legal matters would be good. Attacking the judge as being biased (even if you think it’s true) doesn’t really win you a lot of points among the neutrals.
June 6, 2016 at 10:44 AM #798407FlyerInHiGuestWhat policy and transgressions on the part of Hillary? Trump has many more problems. He has no policies and his transgressions are many.

I didn’t use to care about politics as much, but I actually took the time and started looking at what each and every candidate has said, which has definitely been an eye opener….
OMG, you’re going to vote for Bernie. π
Isn’t that the crux though. You have to look at what they say, but then know what they say doesn’t really mean anything, it may just be what polls. Or in the case of Donald, a good hard look at his real personality which, reminds me of every half-rate CEO I’ve ever met.

Lol. As of tonight, you just threw away your vote π
I’m writing in Gary Johnson, heh heh….
I can’t believe my ultra conservative sibling and husband are both voting for Hillary. I’m laughing my ass off because last year, I remember the three of us ran into a Hillary crowd when Hillary was contemplating a run, and some volunteer approached us and asked “would you like a Hillary sticker”.. I didn’t say anything but my sibling and her husband literally said “HELL NO!”… Well, both of them wrote in Hillary. I was like “gee, I guess hell froze over…”

Good for you. I voted for Gary too,, but I check the bubble instead of writing him in. Hopefully, this will get you to register as a Libertarian. -
