Breeze your posts have been reduced to caricatures of sarcasm based on your political beliefs. I am an electrical engineer with a BSEE from UCSD and 20 years in the industry as well as owning my own brokerage for almost 6 years now. I will gladly match my intelligence and skill level in most any field against you at any time.I sleep very well at night because I have always been honest and up front with all of my clients.
Your posts are pretty much jokes these days.

If you’ve put anyone in a house since 2002 it’s guaranteed that they are underwater now or soon will be. Pretty much everything you’ve done as a realtor for the last 6 years has been a waste — actually it’s been more than a waste because you’ve helped to bring American society down.
Anyway, I just don’t see how some misguided realtor has any room to criticize those who were saying “bring it on” when it is YOU who has likely done more than anyone else on this board to fuck everything up. If you supported Republitards in this election you are even more retarded than I imagined.
And do you think being a “successful” realtor in the biggest housing bubble in history somehow makes you an expert in “most any field?” Give me a break. You sound like the Internet supertraders back in 2000. Their bread (and yours) was buttered with lucky-brand margarine and they (nor you) never realized it and thought they were some kind of intellectual Gods (until they found out the hard way that they weren’t). You might want to consider stepping down off your high horse for a bit, take a look around, and realize that you are more responsible for the shitstorm we are about to enter than anyone who said “bring it on.”

[/quote]Breeze, with all due respect, it’s quite ironic, your high horse view about Realtors. If you are in sales, like I suspect you to be in, and which you seemed to confirm, when was the last time YOU haven’t stretched the truth( at the minimum) or flat out lied to make a sales…. and mislead a customer into some product/service that was overpromised and underdelivered.??????…Please….
As far as your notion of guilt by association: it takes two to tango. A Realtor in itself is specific role, as a mortage broker,as an appraiser. You have good ones, and you have the fly-by-night,get rich quick ones that are clueless, questionable ethics, etc… The fact is, the lure of quick money brought a lot of “unqualified” gold diggers into the real estate profession (as did the tech bubble brought a lot of unqualified people into the I.T./engineering space- IE your glorified HTML/script kiddies). Hopefully, with this crash, it pretty much flushes out the fly-by-night folks. But there are folks that have been in the RE industry for some time who are true to their business. It is their function to provide their service, as you are to pump whatever crap your company is attempting push on to others.
Also, may I remind you that, being able to “afford” a home is neither a entitlement NOR a requirement. No one FORCED people to buy homes at overly inflated prices. As is any other thing one buys, it’s buyer beware….That’s why folks never buy a software/hardware from a smooth talking salesman without doing a proof of concept first….
Personally, I’d like to see when/if you are ready to purchase a home, you try to take care of all details of a home purchase, and not get your axx handed to you. (Not saying in general, people can’t do it). But you just do strike me as someone, due your high-horse type of thinking, tends to oversimply things until you steep knee deep in cow dung, at which point your realize, “oh shit”.
