Are you are Realtor? Did you buy in TV? Got skin in the game?
Not a realtor, software engineer/manager. I’ve lived in TV for 10 years, bought a couple months ago. Followed the collapse and housing market out here and in South Orange County since 2005.

In all objectivity, Temecula has a good vibe going on right now considering the overall economy.
I am glad to live in Temecula.
Oh, you mean Lucille’s hasn’t been bulldozed yet? I’m pretty sure the mall was just vacant by now.
πI agree about the vibe, the overall sentiment out here is pretty pleasant considering all things. Talked to the young couple looking at the last house for sale on my block and they’ve never been happier – they’ve wanted to buy something out here but the prices are finally reasonable. Of course I did my duty and tried to dissuade them by telling them to panic and hoard food, guns and gold but they simply wouldn’t listen. Idiots I tell you!

I saw a children laughing and playing today.
Dude, you are the preverbial frog in a sauce pan. The water is heating up but you are in denial. You should just relax. The Temecula Valley Ministry of DISinformation jumps on every post that leans negative towards the area like white on rice.
You guys jump in with your transparent lines like “no, no, no, there’s no bulldozing here, that’s 3 miles down the road. Pf Changs, The Mall, Nothing to see here now move along”
Its not your fault and there is nothing you can do to stop what’s happening. Pick an underwater number that you are gonna go jingle mail at and then chill. Enjoy the hot tub until it gets too hot to stand.

Yes, we are in denial. We are enjoying our wonderful weather, new restaurants, Coach store, new Apple store, affordable homes, good schools and hot tubs (I *really* like mine). We sure are the fools, right? Why can’t we just open our eyes and see that our city is doomed and we’ve made the biggest mistakes of our lives and we’ll be laid off tomorrow and the flu will kill us and, and, and homes are being BULLDOZED! Everybody panic. I mean here, look at this scary graph! EVERYONE is foreclosed. Doom! Look at the graph, the data, why won’t anyone listen to me. Bulldozed. Realtors everywhere, lies!!!!
Sadly we all can’t share your reality my friend.
Although, I could do without the Coach store. (The girlfriend has already wrangled shoes out of me…We aren’t allowed to go back there for a while)
