Aye.
The endless square miles to expand for decades are not part of Temecula. Riverside county and zoned/used for wine country. That is not available/build-able land.
The complex on Margarita is a senior condo complex that the owners defaulted on.
The city has already begun work taking over the complex and finishing the development.
Yes, there are a lot of CR vacancies. Commercial Real Estate is in a world of hurt.
There are about 4 new openings in those empty spots in the mall (Lazy Dog Cafe, a sunglass place, yogurt place and Apple store). I don’t have any data on the rest of the leased space but it is definitely going to be unfilled for a while.
Haven’t noticed a Tijuana odor there or anywhere in town. I usually smell BBQ from Lucille’s. It is very possible you were getting a whiff of yourself.
(sorry it was too easy).

May 5, 2009 at 4:06 PM #393370AnonymousGuest
Driving around I noticed that there is a big area at 79/Butterfield graded for a housing tract that is now just a huge eye sore/weed farm.
Yeah, you would never find any empty fields in the classy towns. Not a single empty field in places like Carlsbad.
If I took a photo and told you it was Detroit you’d beleive it.
Yeah, I’m sure you know so much about Detriot. Did you also “pay a visit to Detroit to get more intel?”
[…] Has anyone else smelled Tiajuana type odors there?
Dude, this is getting to be pathetic…
It does strike me slightly odd for one spend so much time researching an area to eventually live in that on the other hand one would exhibit so much disdain for it too. If i didn’t know better, I’d say this it’ just a case of S.G.S. Just saying….
