ParticipantSandi, were you in that video? I stay off the political threads because I don’t believe it matters who the president is. Your state, county and city officials have far more impact on your actual life but everyone gets all hot and bothered about the national election. I do like your enthusiasm, I’ll go to his website and if I like his stuff, you win, I’ll vote for him since nobody else has me very excited at this point. As a rule I generally try and trade my vote for sex or money but what the hell I’ll give it away for free, I voted for Perot once, how bad can this be. All a politician has to really do to get my vote is to run on a traffic free platform. I wan’t a politician to tell me he will pave everything he sees, if there is even five minutes of traffic, people will be fired, habitats destroyed, homes demolished and freeways built. Nobody gets free money, nobody gets medical care, nobody gets an education until the workers footing the bill for this gravy train can get anywhere and everywhere, traffic free. Have all the abortions and guns you want, leave me out of it and let me get where I’m going, I’m that easy.

ParticipantSeriously, that woman was so stupid that it looked almost rigged. I could walk into the local Century 21 office and find some housewife/realtor that could argue the merits of buying now better than that woman, hell I could do it and I don’t even believe it.
I miss David Lereah. Sure he was full of crap but he was good at it, I’d watch and think “stupid people are going to believe him.” Ever since he left there is no leadership on the pro-side of the aisle, Yun makes me want to go to sleep, I can quote almost anyone I have ever met, read or seen and I cannot tell you three words he has uttered in a row. The NAHB’s economist, David Seiders, is practically bearish on housing and all the t.v. shows can muster is former prom queens turned realtors to debate actual economists who have written books, that lady hasn’t even read any. There should be some sort of handicapping or point spread now that it is completely unfair. Maybe housing bears should be told that they cannot use a word containing a certain letter for their entire appearance but not told the letter until ten seconds before air. “O.K. Mr. Schiff, you can’t use any word that contains the letter “R” for the entire debate.” Please give me something, form a competition comittee or bring David back, at least he would sidestep the facts in a clever way.

ParticipantActually Pizza, I checked the weather channels website and ran the averages, Fallbrook is quite a bit cooler than even your one day sample. There are always hot days or hotter than average years but the Average high temp in July and August is only 82 compared to Temecula’s 98 for those same months. Where the weather station is in relation to a town can swing it a couple of degrees as well.
One thing not mentioned about the brook is the fire danger. There is a benefit to multi lane roads and tract homes. Be sure wherever you look in Fallbrook that there is a fire hydrant very near your house, communities at an elevation without a natural water supply can have trouble during fire season (ask Ramona) and this county burns down every four years, so be wary in your selection if you are looking far from town in the hills.
