jimmyleParticipantIf we don’t like TJ like San Diego then we can always move to Montana. Montana is mostly White and Traffic is very light.

jimmyleParticipantCompanies are willing to pay a lot for the right skills. I am an Engineer and pulling in 75K annually. For a while, I thought I make decent money and that salary.com is bs for saying I should be making around 90K. But one of my friend just got a 20% increase, from 92K to 110K. Another one from 70K to 100K, so a 25%-50% increase is not unheard of. This makes it very hard for me not to look for a new job.

Most of us are immigrants from Asia so we tend to spend a little less than Native born Americans. I have been working for 7 years and saved around $70K (with another $40K in 401K). I would say my saving is about average among my friends. One Pharmacist friend saved over $150K because he has been working over 60 hrs per week for the last 3 years. On the other end, one guy is $40K in debt because of his gambling habits.

jimmyleParticipantHi SD Realtor,
I am interested in the West Mira Mesa. There are two areas that I am particularly interested in:
1. Calle Cristobal (between Camino Santa Fe and Camino Ruiz).
2. Mira Mesa (between Camino Santa Fe and Camino Ruiz AND between Mira Mesa and Calle Cristobal).
Do you remember the Kemerton house that we discussed 2 months ago? Do you know how much it went for?
My friend bought the following house in early 2004 for $590K. I really like the house and the neighborhood. I just hope that I can buy a similar house next year for around $500-$540K so I want to track the price trend in the area. One thing I noticed is that the price drop in this area is not as steep as the older areas of Mira Mesa.
my friend’s house
11360 alvarez meadow ct. $590K in 04/2004 1698 sq ft.this slightly bigger house was sold for $553K
7513 Raven Ridge Pt. $553K in 01/2007 1826 sq ft.thanks,
