Participant
Last night I went to Lucille’s at the Promenade (part of the new addition).
In all objectivity, Temecula has a good vibe going on right now considering the overall economy.
I am glad to live in Temecula.
Oh, you mean Lucille’s hasn’t been bulldozed yet? I’m pretty sure the mall was just vacant by now.
πI agree about the vibe, the overall sentiment out here is pretty pleasant considering all things. Talked to the young couple looking at the last house for sale on my block and they’ve never been happier – they’ve wanted to buy something out here but the prices are finally reasonable. Of course I did my duty and tried to dissuade them by telling them to panic and hoard food, guns and gold but they simply wouldn’t listen. Idiots I tell you!

Participant
eclipxe,
Are you are Realtor? Did you buy in TV? Got skin in the game?
Not a realtor, software engineer/manager. I’ve lived in TV for 10 years, bought a couple months ago. Followed the collapse and housing market out here and in South Orange County since 2005.

I think you mean Morgan Hill. That is neither Temecula nor Redhawk. And there are only 4 vacant homes – see paramounts reply:
“I only know of (1) abandoned tract (Hemingway). Hemingway has only (4) vacant houses.”
