No respect, we get no respect I tell you ,
Well at least you did not compare TV unfavorably to Tijuana ..[/quote]
LOL. That article was great. I hear they’re having donkey shows in old-town now btw.

eclipxeParticipantThanks for the update Paramount. Yeah the hospital is an embarrassment.
Look how fast they pushed through Loma Linda – we’ve been waiting on a signature here or there on the Temecula Hospital while Loma Linda went from initial thought to steel in the air. Oh well.
Not seeing a lot of businesses closing much in my neck of the woods (I’m further north near Murrieta).
Here’s what I’m seeing on the ground for retail/restaurants:
-Sonic’s (MHS rd) construction started, main building is up
-Apple store @ Mall is being finished inside
-Alie’s Tapas shut down, but a new place popped up quickly in it’s place
-Ruby Tuesday opened
-Aztek Tacos now in the old Peruvian place next to Siam Surprise and BJs
-New Thai place next to JIB and old Evolution Fitness
-New Vietnamese Pho place along MHS Rd.
-Hungry Bull opened next to Dick’s
-Restaurant/Lounge in the new old-town building still on track for opening
-PHS new headquarters are nearing completion (what a huge complex they have in the hills…wow).
-There’s only one house left for sale in my neighborhood, no more foreclosures or inventory.
-Realtors I provide tech services for report crazy-low inventory levels. Lot’s of people trying to buy, bank’s aren’t releasing homes fast enough.A few negatives:
-Panera bread construction stalled. Did some research and project is still expected to be completed but there were some issues with parking spaces/etc with Ruby Tuesday
-Lazy Dog cafe at mall – opening pushed back from Fall 2009 to Spring 2010
-Summerhouse project trying to be revived as apt’s, partial low-income
-CRE vacancies for the most part are still astronomical. My commercial Realtors are hurting bad.
