BoomerAangParticipant
I agree with Desmond. We took out our shower door when we bought the place because it was dirty and moldy looking around the hinges and corners. We took everything off with the intentions of cleaning everything and putting things back and recaulking the shower door frames back. Taking the caulking off was a pain, but after removing everything, we decided on a shower curtain instead because it made the shower look much cleaner. We had the drilled holes in the tile from the original door, but filled those in with grout. Things look much nicer and cleaner.
BoomerAangParticipantAre you getting a lot of credits towards your solar purchase? How much is your electric bill per month usually? I remember awhile back, before there were government credits for solar panels and what not, it would take approximately 20 years for the cost of having solar panels put in to match the savings that they produced. Solar panels also lasted around 25 years back then as well though.
There are a lot of factors to whether it makes sense to have solar panels put in for your house. Like how much electricity you actually use, how efficient the solar panels you get and where you are, and the upfront costs that you have for the solar panels. If I had a regular 2000 sqft home in North County, and was getting the more recent solar panels; then it would generally be worth it if I stayed in the home for more than 15 years.
Hope that helps a bit. In generally, you just need to sit down and calculate everything when you get the estimate to see how long it will take for things to even out.

Lakers primarily use their length to defend inside the paint with Odom, Gasol and Bynum. The Mavs are primarily a jumpshooting team though that pass the ball around to open teammates. They usually have 3 or 4 good spot-up shooters in the game at a time to allow for better spacing. The Lakers just don’t match up well against the Mavs.
Same thing happened with the Spurs and Grizzlies. The Spurs were too old and not athletic enough to hang with the Grizzlies with their rugged inside game and tough perimeter defense. They are also giving the Thunder a run for their money with their 4-5 combo.
This has been a very interesting playoffs so far.
