I just thought of what a cool idea it would be for all Piggs to get together one day in a conference room and identify ourselves. Then we each get 15 minutes on the podium to discuss how we can makes things better here at home and around the country. Typing is pretty cool, but we can’t get too much done that way. If anyone is into doing some sort of meeting of the minds, I can put something together so let me know!!! I think we have some brilliant people on these boards and would love to pick some brains about the current state of the markets and how we can all benefit from these tough economic times ahead!

February 8, 2009 at 1:17 AM #342779CA renterParticipantThat’s a great idea, Socratt.
As a matter of fact, I was thinking just today about how fun it would be if some like-minded folks could get together in a “pub group” and hash out these problems, and come up with some solid solutions. This does not mean we belong to the same political party…more like a group of people who share an interest in economics and policy-making, and would like to help out with the current situation. Lord knows the govt certainly isn’t coming up with any good ideas.
Who knows? Maybe we could help change things for the better.

A campaign that blew everyone else out of the water, including the all-but-crowned first female president in US history.
I knew that would be your replly, but he didn’t run it, David Axelrod did.
blah blah blah
Not sure what point you were making, but would you rather have Chesley Sullenberger at the help of your next commercial flight or Tom Cruise? Cruise has a nice smile too, you know. The sooner you realize Obama is a tool in the hands of the elite and his promises of hope and change are a lie, the sooner you’ll be able to get on with your life and stop putting your faith in another crony politician.
Obama doesn’t like you anymore than Bush did, the difference is you’ve been fooled into thinking he does. Wake up and look at what he’s done so far. Look at the stimulus.
