Name is dumb and has nothing to do with RE. The first time I went to San Diego was when I was 16 and apart of an outrigging team made up of my high school buddies. So anyways, we enrolled in a race here in SD, told our parents that each of us was sleeping at another guys house before the race and that the coach (we didnt have a coach) was driving us down, threw a party at a guys house who’s parents were outa town (incidently where I met my first GF) got plastered like you only do in school, (I stayed sober to drive) and at 3am drove to san diego to race at 9 am the next morning. The weather sucked, the surf was up, and we were all hung over as hell, except for me, who was 1man and hadnt slept in 26 hours. We were very proud that we were not the last team to finish, and we didnt flip the boat (though we did nearly hit the sea wall going in/out of mission bay.
Anyways the name of the team was Da Wrecking Crew, and my initals are AP. Well really the name was ‘captain winky and the pocket rockets’, but we couldnt wear that as a shirt at our little private christian school where we were getting PE credit for doing this. Anyways, we all had shirts that said DWCxx.When I moved to SD in 2006 the only ties I had to the city was that one trip, and an ex Girl Friend. Since I wasnt about to name myself after her, DWCAP it was.

Back then had no idea the size of the real estate bubble and the eventual impact it would have on the world economy I hate my login name, it makes me sound like a realtor and I always forget it.
