Shadowfax, In actuality, I would like to see more public discourse on intervention of childhood installed/acquired homosexuality or related schisms. The pragmatic day to day thing to do is “live and let live”,I think it is basically the right thing to do on lifestyle issues for the average person.
LA Reader,
Yes, I think I could have turned out gay or aquired some other related schism if I had been indoctrinated by some dynamic(s) at an early age. I was kind of made of the same stuff that other human children are.April 30, 2011 at 12:29 PM #690704NotCrankyParticipantShadowfax, In actuality, I would like to see more public discourse on intervention of childhood installed/acquired homosexuality or related schisms. So what if we have more children becoming gay adults?
Let people decide to become what they want to be.
I personally hate that we are indoctrinated into thinking that a nuclear family of a man, wife and two kids is the idea of success.
I also hate religious indoctrination. I would like schools to teach that being atheist is perfectly normal and that being religious is weird.
Great timely article:
As with other national minority groups, atheism is enjoying rapid growth. Despite the bigotry, the number of American nontheists has tripled as a proportion of the general population since the 1960s. Younger generations’ tolerance for the endless disputes of religion is waning fast. Surveys designed to overcome the understandable reluctance to admit atheism have found that as many as 60 million Americans — a fifth of the population — are not believers. Our nonreligious compatriots should be accorded the same respect as other minorities.

I was kind of made of the same stuff that other human children are.[/quote]I find that hard to believe. Personally, my desire for women is such an instinctive, animal thing completely separate from ideology, culture, teachings etc, I can’t imagine any person or education being able to change that.
Do you really believe that if you had met a “Dynamic” gay person early enough in your life that his influence would’ve been so significant it would UN-DO your “straight Instinct”, your parents’ influence, Media influence, Cultural influence, social pressure from your peer and all the other things that tells you to be straight? HONESTLY? I mean, are we talking Gay Jesus here?
