No cellphone and I don’t want one.
Our bare bones landline is enough for us. My spouse and I just like being unplugged when we’re out of the house. After all the normal work and household phone conversations, being unavailable for a bit is a nice break.
Most people don’t believe me when they ask for my cell number and I tell them that I don’t have one. I’ve had a few get offended, thinking that I was trying to avoid them or hiding it.
Nope. I just don’t feel the need to be immediately and instantly available 24/7.

You should buy an Android smart phone to support flu. ๐
I think the Win7 phones are pretty cool too.[/quote]
Unfortunately, two of the devices that I use the modem with do not have bluetooth (a laptop and netbook). Once those become outdated and I replace them, I’m sure I’ll ditch the modem.
I’m looking at Android phones. My issue is usually the screen. I need it to be readable in daylight, and they usually aren’t, or at least not without giving me a headache.

November 11, 2010 at 3:29 PM #629720RenParticipantThe texting thing drives me nuts. My sister does that to me, even after I’ve specifically told her “I hate texting”. If it’s an especially irritating question (in that it requires a long answer), I’ll ignore it and email back. Eventually.
