How is “righteous wind” Mulsim? I’m not disputing your claim, I just wasn’t aware that was a Muslim phrase, and my Google-Fu is failing me. If someone could point out how the phrase is Muslim, that would be great, thx.

Sure! I stole it, uncredited, from someone else. Open Source quotes is where it’s at!
The irony is that searching for “righteous wind” or “righteous wind muslim” on Google returns nothing but links to various media and right-wing flag-and-cross crazies busting a nut over the phrase. I couldn’t find anything having to actually do with the phrase in relation to the Muslim religion.
Maybe I just suck at Google.
I also find it ironic that after 8 years of bible-thumping and teri-schiavo and gays-are-bad-for-the-bible-tells-me-so and flag-pin-wearing and 99-cent-made-in-china-support-our-troops-magnets that John is using the “wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross” quote. It’s typical Rove 101: take your own weakness and project it onto your opponent.
I mean, if that’s the threshold for Fascism, we’ve been Fascist for decades.
