Yes Allan, that was my point and I also wanted to make the point that Socialism has many faces. The fact that Hitler was a NAZI does not make him less a socialist. I think he probably had good medical coverage for his people, he improved the schools and certainly much of the country wanted the change he brought. It just came at a very high price. People should be careful what they wish for. All change is not good. There is a big difference between change and improvement. What many people here seem to bemoan is the government taking control of so many institutions and that is happening now, with the bailouts. It is not just Obama, it is Congress that is forcing a change on the United States that will have negative consequences for many years to come. The record should also reflect that McCain supported it, too. What happened to the Maverick?

October 26, 2008 at 10:18 AM #293048jficquetteParticipant

We’ve been through all of this before, yet John keeps coming back with the same tired arguments. John, you still haven’t backed up your own claim by stating that Obama is either an illegal alien or a naturalized citizen. Because if he’s not a natural born citizen like you claim, he has to be one of those two.
Obviously, if he was a naturalized citizen, records would be easily available from the INS and he would be disqualified as a presidential candidate. If follows then, that you believe Obama to be an illegal alien. We all know that it is impossible for an illegal alien to run for president. The INS would have shipped him back to wherever you claim he was born.
So please, for your own sanity, either provide proof that Obama is an illegal alien, or admit that your citizenship claims are nothing more than rotten old troll food and that you enjoy watching us get all worked up over this.
It’s ok, you’re allowed to admit that you’re wrong. You’ll be respected more for it.
Afx, why don’t you just admit that you don’t care if he is eligible or not.

John,
You’re providing a quote from newsmax… and you expect to be taken seriously? Their headline story is “Joe the plumber warns America about Obama”
An excerpt from the article you posted: “Respected conservative blogger Ed Morrissey called the Berg lawsuit a “conspiracy theory” that had been put to rest by the Obama campaign over the summer but ”has arisen like a zombie yet again to suck the credibility out of the conservative blogosphere.”
I think he’s talking about you, John.

Factcheck is bullshit. Its a tool owned by the Anneberg foundation who is in the tank for Obama.
You just seek and seek for some little something to combat reems of information that says the opposite. Why do you bother? You don’t even care who or what Obama is.
As far as newmax goes they are more credible then the network news who is in the tank for Obama.

I happened on this thread and could not resist the fact that someone quoted a story from WorldNetDaily.
