Symbolic dicks?
My friend, you’re the one with a problem.
Why is it always guns though? And the fervor? Why not fishing poles or bowling balls or something like that? Poles and balls that’s symbolic. What about vegetables what was the biggest vegetable you ever grew? What became of it? Could it be construed as symbolic?
Russ: When it comes to gardening, the only thing I want to grow is melons. Melons, melons, melons. Especially Casaba melons! What’s up with that? And, I like ’em big. Is there some symbolism there?
Some people use melons for shooting practice. Now, this really bugs me. Do not under estimate the symbolism of pumpkins either.
edit: Supplementary context for the pumpkin being included can be found in the movie. “Night on Earth”

The guns were discussed in the context of defending ourselves against internal/external threats (be it terrorists or otherwise), rather than having the government do it for us. NONE of us were discussing using our little guns to defend AGAINST the government. See the difference? Yeah.
More to the point, the gun discussion was largely a threadjack talking about various guns and why we like ’em so much. You don’t really have that Montana Militia/Stormfront crowd participating on this site, so your shots are misplaced.
You might check out http://www.IHateUncleSugar.com or something like that. Plenty of fearful, under-educated pickup drivers to rant at there, I’d imagine.
Yeah but he is dead on about the killing of people. It horrible and in no means justified..
But yeah we did thread jack a bit… And Fergie…
I don’t think my little pistol is going to stop a tow missle launched from 10,000 feet.
I know that I am a little ant… And the gun won’t make me any bigger.
