Thanks – unfortunately I have read several posts of late that were completely out of left field and referred either to me (Matt Battiata)personally, my company (The Battiata Real Estate Group) or one of my agents. Anyone who knows me or has ever worked with me would question the veracity of these posts.
IMO that is the one big negative of blogs – people can anonymously post whatever they want, in most cases without being held accountable.
In real estate, as with any business, you are never going to make everyone happy, but it is nice to at least be able to respond to criticism and tell the other side of the story, as there always is one.

July 19, 2008 at 2:31 PM #242846TheBreezeParticipantSo another person got ripped off in a real-estate transaction? When are people going to learn that buying a home is typically a horrible, horrible experience and not some kind of romanticized fairy tale?

I don’t know I had a pretty good experience. I don’t think every transaction is horrible. I guess if you think everyone is out to screw you, you might as well be a perpetual renter. (not saying it’s a bad thing).
