ParticipantReading through the description, doesn’t mention of there is a Linux interface (non Android). Since you currently have the product, is there any Win7, Win8 restriction? (many drivers that work with earlier OS(s) don’t want to work on Win7 or Win8)

Hummm.. isn’t that a little related to M2??ucodegen
ParticipantWhat worries me is that the debt is increasing faster than GDP, significantly so. Just watch the digits spin. Time how long it takes for the 6th significant (from right) digit to go to the next value. Also look at M2.

This situation has also caused at least one cop, that was riding in the group, to lose their freedom. And if it hasn’t been clear to you from prior acts, cops tend to protect their own. It takes a lot for them to turn one in.
Cops couldn’t do a damn thing — the little twerp was recognized on the video. And he’s really having his name dragged through the dirt online. I think it’s partially “karmic” payback for his undercover work messing with Occupy Wall Street.
Which is in part, my point. It was severe enough that the blue line could not protect him. I don’t think the more sensational aspect had to do with him being ‘yanked’. It had more to do with his participating in the assault – kicking in the passenger door, smashing in the back window, combined with is very slow report of the incident to superiors. (It was also not his undercover task – he seems to actually be a member of the group).

Participant
And since America is becoming more and more of a “police state” every month, I just don’t see the lawlessness in our future as you do.
And you trust the police absolutely? Police don’t get involved in illegal activities? With an increased police state, it actually gets worse for the population because there is no check/balance against police misbehavior.

Participant
The only “assumptions” I have made here is that the US far northern, mountainous and coastal residents will continue to need (and purchase) the food and gas which is grown and produced in the nation’s midsection. And long-haul trucking companies and the railroads will continue to carry it all to its destinations.
The central sections are not the oil producers you think they are. The Dakotas are north(newest oil boom), Alaska is way north. Have you ever seen vegetables grown in Alaska? Creepy until you realize that during the summer, they have 20 hours of sunlight.

You are missing CTRL+ALT.
Thanks.BG, you could be missing something because you are making a lot of assumptions…it’s that simple. Not to say I have a crystal ball.
She is making a heck of a lot of assumptions. She is looking at the motivated group of Gen Ys, ignoring those that are not. Just want to party, smoke weed and play video games. One I know of intentionally broke their old phone because they wanted a new iPhone, and they might get their Mom to buy them a new phone if the old was broken. This person was encouraged by their peer group to do this. BTW, this person is over 18.We have been so concerned about not offending, being PC, not making others feel bad about themselves and not allowing people to have difficulties. How are kids and youth that have grown up in this scenario going to handle having to get up at 4am in the morning to do physical labor? How are they going to handle responsibility? Disappointment?
They want and have no patience to work for it or to delay gratification. They want instant gratification and they have learned that if they throw a tantrum, they can get it and steal it if you still don’t get it. Honest and integrity don’t matter. Lie if it gets you what you want.
While there have always been people like this, as a percentage of the population, their numbers are increasing and that is the real problem.

ParticipantI know that this is inevitable, though I try to get some people to pay attention and learn. Part of it is due to current society not wanting to be responsible and accountable for their behavior – nod to the motorcyclists going after a Range Rover.. amongst others. Since it is inevitable, the real thing is to figure out how to be safe and profit from it.

Participant
the problem is Mieses may not have been part of the problem.
his wife claims mieses was trying to calm the crowd down.
By blocking the Land Rover by standing in front of him and preventing Lien from safely driving down the road?? umm.. that is called illegal detainment and kidnapping, and at least one of the bikers have been charged with it. You obviously have your head up where it don’t shine. The bikers did several aggressive acts to Lien before Lien did anything – look at the video and timeline indicated (earlier posts). This situation has also caused at least one cop, that was riding in the group, to lose their freedom. And if it hasn’t been clear to you from prior acts, cops tend to protect their own. It takes a lot for them to turn one in.
As i see it, this was a garden variety traffic accident.
then it got a little tense, then lien drove through the crowd.
the mieses guy got run over
As I see it, you are blind. Did you not notice that none of the bikes are running license plates? That the biker in white with black vest actually drove into Liens lane along the drivers side door followed by cutting in front and braking (swoop and squat). Why would you take the plates off of a registered motorcycle? Why would you intentionally cut in front of another vehicle and hit the brakes.. its all on video.
If mieses was threatening lien, lien needed to be in “Reasonable fear of bodily harm” the problem is lien was inside a range rover, that was perfectly sound.
Again, you deserve the moniker of idiot as well as knucklehead. Lien was pulled out of the vehicle, as was his wife further down the road, so obviously being inside the Range Rover was not necessarily perfectly sound. The motorcyclists took several initial act that were illegal to before Lien did anything.
none of these chuckleheads had broken a window, none of them blown a tire,
wrong knucklehead. Take a look of the pictures of the Range Rover on the tow truck. No right front tire.. not even any shred of rubber on the rim. This tells you that the right front tire was run for a bit while flat.

Lien needed to stay where he was, chill out, call 911.now he’s facing a couple of million in lawsuits, he’s facing
a long messy, career destroying swarm of publicity.i’m not going to join either side, the cops have arrested the guys who kicked his ass, and the lawyers are suing lien.
i’ll let the system work
Lien was repeatedly calling 911. You really don’t want to add to your current demonstration of ignorance. You already took a side. You could have kept your trap shut. You can’t make a statement indicating that Lien was wrong, and then say that you are not going to join either side. You already did. Too Late. Yes, Lien may be facing a lawsuit, but I suspect that it may blow up in Gloria’s face. She does not have a high success ratio, except for being able to get her face in the media. Standing in front of the Range Rover and using your body to block it while in the middle of the freeway can be considered aiding in illegal detainment/kidnapping.

ParticipantAnyone want to estimate the amount of time that it will take for kids to:
1) Find a work around, ie: “Mow the lawn” now means “Beat you up after school”.
2) Figure out how to screw with the system by intentionally seeding their conversations with trigger words and phrases.October 8, 2013 at 11:38 AM in reply to: OT: Justice for Alexian Lien: victim of mob beating… #766533ucodegen
Participant
Recognizing satire and snark about the dumbness of our legal system went by you didn’t it?
Now where will Gloria did her jury of people that aren’t aware of this case and have not formed an opinion already? Her Good Samaritan deserves it. 🙂
He’s innocent like all those other nice gentlemen hunger striking in Pelican bay. Just ask them.
When events occur that are or can be inflammatory, I tend to stay away from snark because it tends not to clarify or diffuse things. I tend to put my logical/engineering hat on.
