ParticipantFor the first time ever, i’m with patb! My geekish roots are firmly entrenched with the shuttle, but like all things, technology changes, it’s actually kinda suprising they made it this far. One of my fondest memories will always be driving out to edwards afb to see it land, here’s a recap. My cousin drove a vehicle that got 8 mpg to the landing strip and we listened to some tunes on 8 track during the journey and somehow there is a connection to the end of the world that the shuttle is retiring?

ParticipantZeitegist and party pup, those are either of you two’s nuttiest posts ever or the most profound. Not because of the predictions of the country going to hell, but for the realization that they are all the same, only the logo is different.
Initially I thought you guys were reading bill simmons’ article about the best new drink invention of the year and decided to try a few. In case you missed it, you make an arnold palmer (ice tea and lemonade) then add two shots of vodka and call it a john daly. I’m still laughing inside about it.
Staying apolitical, your guy sucked, their guy sucks and most of the past guys sucked, the next few guys or gals will suck too, but all in different ways. We will survive, we won’t become russia or join the third world, the country is no stranger to crappy politicians, in fact it is essential. If a president had a 99% approval rating, regardless of their party, that would scare me. As long as half the country is complaining, all is well, that’s the beauty of the two party system, they couldn’t agree on how to pick up $100 bills off the ground, if they could, they would actually have some power to affect my life.
This calls for a little LAO TZU:
“Be Content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you”
“One who is too insistent on his own views, finds few to agree with him.”
and the most applicable
“The wicked leader is he who the people despise. The good leader is he who the people revere. The great leader is he who the people say, ‘We did it ourselves.’ ”

Participantcould be a lot of things, zillow sucks for sales records and get them wrong routinely.
you are right, usually the astronomical price is the foreclosure price, then the next price is it selling to the new buyer and it’s more reasonable.
For free you could go look at the records yourself or you could order them for about three bucks online. A search online will yield clues even if you don’t buy the records.
If you want to send me their address in a private message I’ll run it for you and post the answer without listing the address, or you can run it yourself, getting their name from the gis and then running a grantee search on riverside county’s website, if the county does not show a nod and a not, then it’s just bad data from zillow, wouldn’t be the first time.

ParticipantAecitia, as a longtime confidant, there is a limit to what you may reveal, yes it is true, my upbringing included peasant religions. Yes, the nuns did teach me to play poker, but i’ll also blame the imbibing on them since my first exposure to the drink was also courtesy of the sisters.
Talk about a thread hijack, how did this end up a psychoanalysis of me, complete with childhood flashbacks of somewhat inappropriate incidents. Did it ever occur to you that there may be a reason I covet my wine, perhaps it’s medicinal.
Allan, I’ll drop jagerbombs with you anytime, you are 15 minutes away, send me a message and invite yourself over on some random football sunday, when do the chargers play the raiders? Aecitia has yet to visit the new pad, lets make it happen, but not in mexico, it’s safer in iraq these days.
