Participantif two parent families are safer than one parent families, why wouldnt four or five parent families provide even more safety???
women with men are a lot more likely to get shot; so arguably single women families where the women keep men out of their lives would REDUCE gun violence….

well, anyway, even if obama was an ak47 toting freak and the colorado phd gunman was from a broken home, it woudl still have been a totally goofy comment.

i think the deal was blacks couldn’t get celestial marriages and other benefits, so in the afterlife, they basically had lowerclass positions, like servants to the fully celestially endowed, whcih w as still good, because at least you were in heaven, even if you had a crap job there, much better than non-mormons, whoa re totally locked out, but not as good a spot in heaven as what a full on white person would get. that changed in 78 when blacks were recognized as being entitled toa full share of the afterlife.
the problem came about due to prosyletizing in brazil–no one could tell who the black people were, or how much black was in them…so for expansion purposes, a revelation w as necessary…good business move…

Participantim wondering? what level of security is appropriatein an embassy? I mean, we’re supposed to have diplomatc relations with the place? if it takes a battalion of soldiers to guard an embassy, probably we shouldnt have the damn embassy?

Participantat first i was visualizing pink binders, just to keep it all organized. but then I was thinking maybe the binders had a picture of a hot woman on the front, so the staff can remember these are women in there, and the pink could get confusing, if some of the staff are color blind, or they a re operating in low-light conditions.
i guess it could just be one of those circles with a cross symbolizing women, but those can be kind of confusing. sometimes you have to stopand think for a moment which sign is which. and what if the governor is screaming at youto get the woman binder, NOW, and you fumble and pick up a man binder?! Ouch!
so fnally i figured for clarity’s sake the women binders would have giant close up photos of vaginas on the covers, and breasts on the spine, and the male binders would have penises on the front and down the side.
that way the staff would know quickly which binder was which, if they got an emergency call to present the appropriate binder.

Participantif i were living the life of my dreams it would be different. i guess i made some decisions back there. i cannot remember.
my dream involved more money and a lot more freedom.
growing up my parents just urged me to be “happy”.
i’ve concluded that that is just dumb for me to try to seek to be happy, and that the only thing to be done is to fulfill duties and hope that some happiness comes from that.
i hope my kids are happy.
or in the alternative, fulfill their dutes.
Participanti cannot recall the title but i was recently perusing a book in a bookstore whicha rgued basically that pursuing passions was a very bad idea, and instead, one shoudl just focus getting very skilled and craftsman like at whatever opportunities presented themselves.

Participantin a somewhat unrelated comment, it’s kind of amusing to me that one gets SAT results in 18 days (exactly) nowadays via computer.
somehow, it seems much less dramatic.
I enjoyed getting the envelope from the testing place, the thick confidentiality of it, the opening of the letter, the corporeality of the letter itself, its thick paper stock.
instead, now, we have a number flickering on a screen. I suppose the latter is more realistic of its actual longterm meaning…

Participantevery business should set up a nonprofit to have their business donate to! hilarious. a portion of every sale goes to me. and the other portion goes to me.
reminds me of the line in RAISING HOPE ( funny tv series)…on the death of sabrina’sgrandmother, the deceased’s will states she has set up a nonprofit organization dedicated to wiping out all nonprofit organizations. I laughed pretty hard at that!
