ParticipantPerry; Your analysys on this post is excellent your theory is very plausible.
Hi sdr,
SDR put you on the tab for our first round of beers. He is the best!“Yes, each bank has a handful of Realtors that sell their REO’s. I have a few friends that do it. It is a very tough job as they also become property managers.”
From appearances they don’t take the property management part too seriously:).

ParticipantThe winters would be tough. It sounds like a very nice place for your family. Juneau is a nostalgic place for me. I have pictures of my younger self in my dress whites (Enlisted navy)barefooted standing on a chunk of floating ice in front of the Mendenhall glacier. Maybe I am not remembering the name correctlty? A bunch of us went out there together and took turns on this impromtu photo op. It was great port visit on the way to the worlds fair in Vancouver. A cruise through the inland passage is highly recommended by Rustico, not necessarily in a haze gray destroyer.

I think of being there every year at this time, since I first hitch hiked there after finishing high school in California in 1980.NotCranky

Participant“I know the brainpower on this board could come up with better alternatives that our current government has to offer.”
SD Transplant,
The curmudgeon to diplomat ratio in here is a little skewed in favor of the former and the rest of the crowd is pretty happy with one of the two camps that share power already.
No, we will have a different looking government when the next imperial force draws up the plans, “brain power” not with standing. There always the alternative possibility that we just anihilate the planet with nukes.June 8, 2007 at 5:17 PM in reply to: So I’m curious. How do you usually vote?
