Make sure that you buy lots of ammunition for common calibers of guns. .22 short, 9mm, .45 ACP, and .357 magnum since all will be used as currency. If you have a farm or a large amount of land and use up ammo, I would recommend getting a reloading kit and smokeless gun powder. Also stock up on lead, silver coins, quality canned goods and dehydrated meat and have a large supply of fresh water.
If things get really bad, you can always hunt deer or large dogs for food. I don’t recall which breeds of dogs taste best.

gold_dredger_phdParticipantWhy do you want to pay so much for housing? $450 per month for HOA fees? I hope you make $200K per year.

The racial bean counters in the admission offices don’t care whether the favored minorities graduate, just what color the overall starting class is. The chances of graduation may be much lower than average, but that doesn’t count.
Years ago, people were complaining that UC-Berkeley was 51% asian. The proper response was, “So what?” But, there may have been some effort to change the racial composition by disfavoring asian applicants.
I knew a guy at a Midwestern university that said he was white, just so he would have no chance of being race-normed into a school that was too competitive for him. That was in the mid-80’s. Now everyone has a reason to distrust the admissions process.
