The sad thing is most of these issues were discussed when ACA was passed. That is why it is how it is.
So we have people who had 7+ years to figure it out and this is all they have! sad.
enron_by_the_seaParticipantBernie couldn’t get Zaphyr Teachout elected in Blue NY.
He could not get prop 61 passed in blue CA.
He didn’t do particularly well yesterday eitherenron_by_the_seaParticipantI am expecting Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to extend debt limit without any protest as many times as requested by the White House until the next Democrat president takes office.
enron_by_the_seaParticipantSo I sold off a large chunk of my stock holdings today too. I don’t think I ever entered such large sell orders in last 20 years.
Maybe I am crying a wolf here, but I only see trouble no matter who wins with a narrow mandate.
enron_by_the_seaParticipant
How do you know? Might be enough irate voters to turn the Senate and House blue.
Look at the polls.
No poll ever said that house was ever in play this election. GOP has structural advantage due to last redistricting.
Senate was in play only when Hillary had 6+ point lead in the poles. If Hillary wins by small margin or loses, the senate will remain to be red.
The only two scenarios now seem to be (i) narrow Hillary win + red house + closely divided red/blue senate + unknown supreme court or (ii) narrow Trump win + red house + red senate + red supreme court.
Choose carefully!
enron_by_the_seaParticipant
However, I’m not afraid of the alt-right
I am worried about Trump because he will come to power with a GOP house and GOP senate. I don’t know if he will be able to resist Alt-right. So I am definitely scared of Alt-right. I don’t know if Trump will stand up to them.

Will Darrel Issa survive this November?
Obama makes it a point to campaign against Darrell Issa –
Issa, Obama said, is one of the Republicans he blames for fanning the flames that created Donald Trump, and is now trying to run from Trump as the polls plummet. The California Republican is also one of those kind of Republicans, according to Obama, who spits fire at him and then shows up with family members for pictures at the White House Christmas party every year.

I totally did not expect that given that Manchester-era UT was a big booster of giving Spanos whatever he wanted. I guess the paper has really changed its politics. (And yes, I think UT endorsed Hillary also …)
enron_by_the_seaParticipantIf Trump’s current wife indeed worked while being on tourist visa then she broke immigration law.
If she broke immigration law, her citizenship can be revoked. That is as illegal act as the people crossing over border without visa to this country and working.
Since Trump and his supporters has made illegal immigration such a big issue this cycle, they should step up and and assure Americans that his wife is better than “illegal immigrants” in following immigration laws like he promised. But he won’t because there is probably something there that he doesn’t want you to see.
enron_by_the_seaParticipantOK. I am not voting for either Donald Trump or Bill Clinton.

I suggest you tape and take a good long look at all three hours of “Today”.Seriously, that last hour with Hoda and Kathy Lee, not as vulgar, but just as crass, IMO.
It’s like watching a couple 50 year old high school girls talking smack.
People confusing TV shows with reality. That is why Trump is doing so well.

Bunch of holier than thou type liberals posting on Facebook and going off on Public Radio, but failing to understand or delve into the fact that women say stuff like “if it were me, I would have cut his dick off” and ” hang him by his balls” and “kick him in the balls” “shove a stick up his ……
Uh, my wife has never ever said anything even remotely like that. Ever.
Nor have I ever said anything like Trump said. Ever.
I can say that for sure.
+1
I don’t personally know anybody over the age of 21 who talks like that either. And I am pretty sure that if somebody talked like that, most people I know will certainly not condone it.
enron_by_the_seaParticipant

Really? A single paragraph of a speech that you just read for the first time no more than a few days ago, for which you had zero context, is why you don’t trust her? Before that you did? Yeah, go with that. That’s believable. Can’t be that you really don’t have a good reason.
Believe what you will. I’m not trying to convince you. All you need to know is I think she’s a big fat LIAR. I’m also not alone. Majority of American think so too. Keep drinking your Kool-Aid. It’s good for you.
Wow, I think Donald Trump has take over AN’s account and start posting in Piggington. lol.
When I start doing that, it will be yuuuge. Believe me. I have great posts. Believe me. AN doesn’t know how to win anymore. The third world has better posts than this site. Believe me. Bengazhi. Libya. Radical Islam. I have great posts. I have great balance sheet. We will post from Post office between Capitol and Pennsylvania Avenue. It has beautiful wall. My posts will take care of everybody. We will take care of coal. We will put all the posters back to work on this message board. Bernie Sanders made the deal with the devil.

Don’t waste your vote, vote third party.
Vote for third party or not voting is also the same as voting for Donald or Hillary. You just chose to let others make that choice for you.
