I’m seeing if I can unlock and relock, minus the appraisal fee..(I’m told usually not possible unless the rate difference is greater than .25)…I can outright cancel, but them I’m out some fees.
Lol, I told you I’m the ultimate contrarian…
30 year is about to become 4.25 @ no fee/no cost any time soon now.
Great rates huh? Pretty crazy, I’ll say.
Well, folks wanted a break on savers/penny-pinchers. You got one going on right now… I don’t think folks underwater or in do-do can get close to these deals. The way I look at it, if everyone is predicting that it will take a decade+ before housing recovers in the U.S., with a 15year fixed, I’ll be close to done and free and clear just about the time everyone starts to buy again heh heh π
As another contrarian indicator…Wait about 3-4 months and go buy some appliances. I just got mine delivered yesterday..Which means rebates/incentives are going to go through the roof π

August 6, 2010 at 10:45 AM #587432anParticipantIf 30 years no cost get down to 4.25, maybe 15 years 0 points will get down to 3.25% :-). If that happens, I might bite the bullet and go w/ the 15 years. So, what’s the chances we’ll see that happening?
