[quote=UCGal]I chose to not refi because I’m attacking it a different way – just tossing more money at my already small, low interest loan. (I have a 4.25% 15 year loan from last year – My extra payments will have it paid off in 2015 and save me almost $10k in interest.)

Excellent strategy, UCGal. How great will it feel when you’ve paid off your house in just a few more years? And, you have the granny flat, on top of that. You’ve done very well with your housing situation.

15yr fixed @ 3.75, no points 274k loan.
This is a true no cost loan. I locked about 10 days ago. Currently 3 yrs into a 30yr fixed @ 5.375.I will be 52 when I pay this off, instead of 67.
