    Just an FYI on pring. While 2003 was bubbly that price occurred prior to the most bubblicious period. My next door neighbor sold their house for mid 700’s around that time and had they waited 2 more months they could have gotten close to 900K. A house like they bought would still sell easily close to 800K.

    I dont know that area but a great property in a area that has retained its value will sell at 2003 pricing.

    Thanks for all comments. Probably the most compelling opinions were questioning whether we were willing to pay a premium for the property. I was only willing to pay so much and apparently someone else was willing to pay more. Again, all of your comments were EXTREMEMLY helpful in our decision to stay put.

    FWIW, I don’t think you’ll regret your decision to hold off for now. It looks like things are turning again.

    FWIW, I don’t think you’ll regret your decision to hold off for now. It looks like things are turning again.
