They are going about marketing this place all wrong. They need to emphasize the positive aspects of the property, like:
“Beautifully remodeled with an open floor plan…”
“Ample natural light floods the interior…”
“Feels much larger than Sq footage suggests…”
“Al fresco living…”
C’mon, give it a try. It’s fun :)
“Let your imagination go free”
“Half the house with twice the value”
“Featherweight Light and Bright”
“Katrina Inspired Design”The only thing more funny than this “house” is the extra zero in the price.
A few questions I have would be
1) Was the 1076sqft as measured before or after the halfing?
2) Where is the 1 bathroom. Is it the outside bush?
3) I see two half bedrooms, not two bedrooms.July 23, 2008 at 10:50 PM #245808CoronitaParticipant
They are going about marketing this place all wrong. They need to emphasize the positive aspects of the property, like:

July 24, 2008 at 11:56 AM #246082poorgradstudentParticipantI looked at a house recently in… Kearny Mesa I think, where the copper pipes had been ripped out, and one of the bathtubs(!) had been removed. Interestingly, there were a couple of nice light fixtures that were untouched.
It’s one thing to read about it, but it really is another thing to actually stand inside a house that has been gutted and experience it first-hand.
