You need a Sam Woo’s Just kidding.
as a side note , seeing a lot of Korean’s in TV these days.
Maybe our API’s will go up, Just kidding…
I think these school district issues will become less and less important as the web continues to take over more and more of these roles. But I think the neighborhood will still matter

LOL.Apparently it didn’t work for Clairemont
Just kidding…..:)
Asians like new houses. Clairemont is too old for them.
New houses, new schools and Ranch 99 would work perfectly. The addition of an 85C Cafe like in Irvine would be even better.
A ranch 99, or GOOD chinese food/cafe would NEVER be in an a more afluent community in SD. Margins are too low, and the rents would be too high…That’s how you get those $5.99 lunch specials. Finding places were rent is cheap(er)…..Wouldn’t happen in Carlsbad,CV,Encinitas..
If it were to happen, the food would either (1) taste bad or (2) be incredibly expensive or (3) not really authentic or (4) all of the the above.
And no, PF Changs is NOT chinese food…It qualifies as food in category (4) in my book. That’s why in the newer strip malls, you see so many Sushi places. Because it’s expected you can charge an arm/leg for that.August 12, 2010 at 2:40 PM #590252CoronitaParticipant

I stopped going to Sam Woo after a cockroach crawled out of my rice porridge soup one time.
For a slightly better taste, try Dumpling Inn.Dee Dee’s Cafe use to be great until the ownership changed recently.
