Hey, maybe in a few years, it would be, “but that’s in the Carlsbad school district…”
from what I gathered a few years ago when looking for homes in Carlsbad, it seemed Carlsbad unified was underfunded and overcrowded. A new high school was badly needed but for some administrative red tape issues never build. Some even said CUSD gave up the eastern portion of the city to SMUSD temporarily simply because it couldn’t handle the influx of students and SMUSD made sure that become permanent.
I’m sure some of the above is just rumors, perhaps Carlsbad folks would give their input on the state of CUSD?
