Allan, unless you know the ancestry of those that “run universities like Georgetown and Loyola” and that ancestry is primarily that of Spanish nobility, your comment is inaccurate.

September 2, 2008 at 8:08 AM #264875gandalfParticipantI agree, Palin is a concensus poor choice after the dust settles.
BTW, with press, I don’t think it’s liberal bias. Or conservative bias. I just think they’re biased.
Me? I see ‘generational’ bias. It sounds “made-for-boomers”, left or right, all the way down to the Viagra commercials in between segments. Bunch of pompous ‘opinion makers’, manufacturing ‘stories’ and marketing their programs.
Next time you watch TV, if you still do, compare an average PBS NewsHour broadcast to the garbage on network and cable channels. They do a good job of getting at the facts and substance of an issue without commentary or opinion.
Also, with respect to Obama coverage, I’d suggest that the entire nation is biased, 80% disapproving of Bush/Republican years, towards new options. Obama just happens to be the guy in a “throw the bums out” season.
