Anyone familiar w target focus training? Group that trains how to do extreme violence to others in real fighting situations nit martial arts seems to focus on the exact mechanics of gouging eyeballs out of the head And practicing how to do it breaking limbs etc. They do training nationally including San Diego. I really want to go. Seems better than guns.

FWIW, Piggs, I don’t have iron grates on my windows, don’t own a gun and never owned a security system. And I have no plans to acquire any of these things![/quote]
1%’ers are self proclaimed outlaw bikers. The are the 1% of society that does not live by “the rules”.
Locally we have Hells Angles, Mongols, and various other groups.
And yeah… They hang in Chula Vista… Where do you think they would hang? La Jolla?

Not to dispute your mettle in battel WW but this kind training is almost the same arguement as the “qualifed in a firefight” arguement. To be good at this kind of thing you almost need to have been in several “scraps” before it is effective. Not to say that it wouldn’t help, some training is better than none, but once again it comes down to a lot of muscle memory and reacting vs. thinking.
And yeah the first thing I was taught in martial arts was all the cheap tricks first! π
Why? Because the are the easiest and most effective but once again you need to be able to react and not think about doing those…
I am bored at work today!
