If you dont take the wife, take the boys camping this Summer. There is a great campsite about 5 miles north of Ojai that I took my son to a couple yars ago. It is one of the few places I found in SoCal that you can camp next to a mountain stream (that actually has running water in the Summer). Growing up back east I loved playing in creeks and wanted to take my son to experience that. After a few months of research I found a place near Ojai. We had a great time and alternated between heading North to hike in the Los Padres forest and heading south to Ojai (there’s a great lake with a waterpark and the town is very Santa Fe NM like) for dinner when we didnt want to cook. There’s a great old fashioned ice creme parlour in town too.April 11, 2009 at 8:52 PM #379716sdrealtorParticipantCardiff

Spa time is easy
Try La Costa Spa & Resort
call them
they’ll hook you up
I love it there
Russian River is awesome. I used to live there. But it is an 11 hour drive from here.[/quote]
As someone who grew up near there, I can reliably say that you can make it in 7. However, you should not try it with passengers.
