AMT? What’s that? Oh, yeah…The thing that Congress is trying to “patch” for 21 million tax filers…lol… Don’t count on a fix.
Me. I don’t pay my complete taxes up front…Namely, because it’s like giving the government free interest by paying bills early…

Participantwow. thanks for this thread. i almost paid my 1/1 payment early and am not itemizing this year. reading Piggington just saved me about $1500 in deductions for 2011! thanks piggington.

ParticipantAny recent purchasers receiving a supplemental bill will likely have a different due date than 12/10 or 4/10. There is no need to pay this early unless you are sure it will help with your 2010 tax deductions.
Note: the amount on your supplemental bill in no way indicates what the taxes will be on a future “regular” bill.
