    Just need to pay it and make sure it gets posted and clears by 12/31. My mortgage is at my bank so I can just transfer the funds.

    And for those of us with impound accounts … check the county web site, make sure the bleeping servicer actually paid the taxes.

    My servicer showed the tax payment on the online statement last month, but the county still lists the first installment as unpaid. The “property tax specialist” says the check is in the mail. I guess I’ll find out come the 10th.
