One great program is Girls on the Run http://www.girlsontherun.org/. My daughter participates in the group in Carmel Valley–what a great organization. Lots of discussion of values, the media, etc., in a very non-preachy way. Combine that with teaching girls the joy of running, and completing a 5k race at the end of the session. Highly recommended!
