It’s nice that they give you the option of not participating but,
The license plate numbers of vehicles whose operators decline to participate in the Roadside Inspection Program are recorded and entered into a laptop computer for later analysis.

Before anyone gets upset… The asian fiancee’ taught me that one…
In AZ and NV they use to have smog vehicles that you drive by and it would get some CO2 counts and other things and send you a ticket if the car was way off in terms of emissions.
