OT: Gay Marriage

What this does is ruin one of my favorite jokes. I am very fond of saying that “I would be gay if they would let you be gay without having to have sex with men, other than not being sexually attracted to men, it’s perfect for me. No alimony, no marriage, no divorce attorneys, some guys have all the luck, that’s why gay is synonomous with happy, I’d be happy too if the law prevented me from getting married.”

That joke just doesn’t have the same zip anymore, oh well. It’s always a good thing when people get what they want and feel equal, but i was kinda hoping the way to solve the problem was to make it illegal for everyone, I guess that dream is out the window.

To the best of my knowledge, Jesus never condemned homosexuality.

In at least one passage he condemned marriage in general. He preached a lot of loving your neighbor and all that. We christians tend to ignore that silly old book when it suits us.
