LA Reader,
Yes, I think I could have turned out gay or aquired some other related schism if I had been indoctrinated by some dynamic(s) at an early age. I was kind of made of the same stuff that other human children are.
I find that hard to believe. Personally, my desire for women is such an instinctive, animal thing completely separate from ideology, culture, teachings etc, I can’t imagine any person or education being able to change that.
Do you really believe that if you had met a “Dynamic” gay person early enough in your life that his influence would’ve been so significant it would UN-DO your “straight Instinct”, your parents’ influence, Media influence, Cultural influence, social pressure from your peer and all the other things that tells you to be straight? HONESTLY? I mean, are we talking Gay Jesus here?
You are not following me at all. I am not blaming anything exclusively on gay people, especially not “dynamic” ones. They are probably too busy being dynamic and too obvious to misguide anyone….and more power to them! Besides that a child would be out of the developmental age I am thinking about before having the chance to meet and interact in significant ways with “Gay Jesus”.
Just curious,
Do you have a gay or lesbian brother or sister?
My guess would be brother.April 30, 2011 at 2:08 PM #690724NotCrankyParticipant

My guess would be brother.
I can’t speak for LA Reader, but he spoke pretty well for me. I was prepared to write virtually identical words before I read what he said. I was floored by your assertion that we should have more discussion of “intervention of childhood installed/acquired homosexuality or related schisms.” Most all evidence points to sexual preference either existing at birth or being essentially “imprinted” during early childhood development.
And none of my 2 sisters nor 3 brothers are gay. I’m a bit perplexed by that question.

April 30, 2011 at 3:10 PM #690668NotCrankyParticipantBoth reasons you give may have some validity. I think childhood development, including at least an extended period of the prepubescent years is where it is at. So what would be wrong with wanting to not enhance that with a biased public exercise, if say parental(or societal) immaturity or ignorance or just malice, were part of it? I think those things are.
I am perplexed that you would want to say what LA Reader said. He was pretty clearly not following what I was saying and he was aggressive and haughty with his first post in rebuttal. My question about his family was a much more mild turnabout on that.
