    So I am sitting here procrastinating doing some bill paying… Sitting on the couch with the laptop and switching through the channels. I was hoping, just hoping, to see some mainstream media reporting of how ACORN which is scheduled to received oh about 8 billion in stimulus money, is responding to the recent events.

    I think it is an especially sad commentary when some 20 year old girl and a 25 year old kid can go into ACORN centers asking them how to get housing so that they can fly in teenager girls from out of the country for prostitution yet ABCs very own 20/20 aired …. Michael Jacksons sister Latoya described what happened at the funeral. Where are Primtime, 20/20, MSNBC, 60 minutes, and all the other “investigative journalists” now?

    So what does CNN do? They spend the day attacking…. ACORN? No… they attack the kids who blew the story….

    I am sorry but this is just really getting unreal. It is like everyone just clams up. My entire family are DIEHARD dems…Die hard… I sent everyone of them emails last night asking what they thought of this stuff. Not one response. Everyone just kind of walks away and like pretends this doesn’t happen.

    I guess this is our brave new country. It is getting to be a pretty scary place. Good to see that Wall St, the mainstream media, the president, and of course most of the public are all on the same page.

    God help those of us who question things anymore.

    Yes I agree 4plex.

    Nothing but crickets chirping when it comes to showing outright corruption by large government funded programs.

    Good thing we have the government taking care of us.

    I like musicals – ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ being a favorite

    I’m reminded of the scene where a young man asks the rabbi,

    “Rabbi, is there a blessing for the czar?”

    “A blessing for the czar? Of course, my son.”

    “May God bless the czar and keep him … far, far from us!”

    ie, the less ‘help’ we get from the czar the better
