I’m reminded of the scene where a young man asks the rabbi,
“Rabbi, is there a blessing for the czar?”
“A blessing for the czar? Of course, my son.”
“May God bless the czar and keep him … far, far from us!”
ie, the less ‘help’ we get from the czar the better
