ParticipantIt sounds a little high to me but not a lot. You may want to check your sprinklers. Your bill should drop in Fall/Winter as you should water the lawn a lot less frequently. I typically turn them off for a few months (Dec thru Feb) where I live

Participantvery interesting…I moved to a new house last year in August of 2010. It was the first time I had to pay for H20 also. I was in the previous house for ten years but the landlord paid the water.
My water bill is about $75 dollars/every 2mo….with 5 people on a 1/3 of an acre…!
However, I’m in the Helix water district and I don’t have much lawn, but I do have 6 fruit trees, bamboo and some Jalapenos 😉
I’d like to know what the “normal” water bill is too.

ParticipantI agree with sdr. It’s a little high. How long are you running your sprinkler? How often do you wash clothes (full or half empty cycle)? How long do you take showers? Do you take a lot of baths?
