I think that is because Piggs wouldn’t buy a car that is less than 18mpg in the first place.

July 31, 2009 at 2:05 PM #439706rnenParticipantI used it, and got a screaming deal… thanks to all of you tax payers! I traded in a 98 dodge pick up with 125k on it, a transmission ready to die and a bundle of granite slabs had tipped over on it. 8000lbs crashing against the side of your truck makes quite a dent! I would have sold the truck for scrap but instead you all gave me $4500 for it, thanks again!
The way I figure it is that the only way not to get fvcked buy the ridiculas policies of this administration is to take advantage of every one you can because I am paying for it anyway.
They approve another 2 billion for this train wreck, wish I had another piece of crap to unload!

Piggs might not have used them but apparently other folks have in massive numbers.[/quote]
I think Congress is just planning to move an additional $2billion from some energy fund into extending CARS because “it was more important”….
http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/31/house-approves-2-billion-more-for-cash-for-clunkers-senate-vot/Sigh
meanwhile, here’s a video of what dealers are suppose to do to destroy the “clunker”…Drain oil, fill with sodium silicate, and rev the engine until it seizes. I cringe watching folks kill cars like this…
BMW 735….scraped
Late Model Volvo
More…
This is such a fvcking waste in so many different ways…Where are the tree huggers now?
Next up, ObamaCare asking you to trade in your sick family member under a cash for sick/elder program. Here you go, drink this……(Shudders)
