Actually, the rumor was that he had talked is Daughter and son in law into a house with exotic financing back during the peak time of the boom. OUCH…Christmas might not be so merry for Empty Chamberhead.

July 16, 2007 at 1:46 PM #66019desmondParticipantI actually think Chamberlame owns a mobile home somewhere near San Marcos. He also had his divorced son buy a house about a year ago. He kicked me off his show when I caught him using misleading numbers, his last line in a huff, “If he wants to keep throwing money away on rent…”

Oh, I suspect he has far more skin in the game than that Desmond.

July 16, 2007 at 7:55 PM #66075one_muggleParticipantPeople take real estate advice from a man named Chowderhead!?
Actually, I think I read that in the bible once–it was a sign of the apocalypse–right between the sea turning red and David Lereah spontaneously combusting. (if course, it was printed in China…)-one muggle

July 16, 2007 at 8:13 PM #66077(former)FormerSanDieganParticipantI actually refinanced my house with Mehran Aram back in 1999 or so. No complaints.
Rearding Chamberlain. He’s like a stopped clock. You would have made a ton of money following his advice 7-8 years ago, but he’s an obvious perma-bull, numb-skull.
I also remember some of his guests in the last 90’s advocating day-trading tech stocks. Wonder how that turned out ?
