Program does not give directly.
Gives to community leaders who dole it out.
Hmmm…
Really? How do you become a “community leader”? Can I become the community leader representing undocumented asians? We’ll need this because I seriously doubt if it’s handed out to “community leaders” it would be fairly distributed to all undocumented ethicities. I promise to give out whatever is left after I pay myself a $200k+ non-profit CEO salary like so many non-profits do. “Administrative overhead” kinda like the CEO of The College Board. I’m not greedy, I don’t need $1million/year compensation like the CEO of the College Board. $200k/year is acceptable for me.

Just because that is wrong doesn’t make this not wrong.

Hold on. 133 million tax dollars so a white man can golf is one thing. That’s fucking america, he s our capitalist in chief and he won the right to sponge off us fair and square. That’s fine
But $40 million tax dollars so 150000 brown humanoids can eat, and support local business, That is outrageous. That is just unfuckingbelievable. It’s a fucking outrage. It makes me sick to my stomach.
Obama too, should not have played golf. Dude was way too dark to be spending tax dollars on golf.
Get that fucking guy off the course. Trump, play thru!

I think u misread my post. I implied that both are wrong. Not that the golf money was OK and the free money to random foreigners was wrong.
It confuses people when I say I don’t like something the Republicans do AND I don’t like something the Democrats do.

I’m not confused. I disagree with you.
The Republican golf bill is NOT WRONG. We have no reason to be irritated one iota by trumps use of tax dollars.
The only thing wrong about the golf bill is that it is TOO LOW.
I would honestly prefer that trump spend 500 million a year on importing Russian whores so he can have a fresh one to piss on every hour than waste ONE FUCKING DIME on a brown undocumented laborer. I mean, wouldnt you?
even if you’re not a True American, you surely can see that trumps golf game is morally superior and ethically necessary at the very least compared to feeding brown mud people who shouldn’t even be where they are?
Trumps taxpayer golf billmight arguably be wrong, from the point of view of some liberal homosexual socialist deviant, but it is not the clear and obvious ABOMINATION of giving money to illegal human trash, which is WRONG with a capital W, wrong under mans law, under gods law and under every christian, constitutional and moral principle we true patriots believe in, and write outraged posts about.
The first, trump golf fees, is capitalism winning, the second is a grotesque socialist mockery of everything america holds dear to its Christian heart.
Why should trump not have fresh women every hour on the hour, lined up, so when he has to urinate, he can do it in a foreigners mouth, rather than hard, depressing porcelain.
Just The thought that he might be denied even one fresh unpeed upon whore because we diverted 50 cents to a mexican makes me physically ill.
You cannot in good conscience and in the same breath say that a white Republicans 133 million taxpayer golf bill is wrong in the same sense that brown people cash is wrong.

I absolutely can say that in good conscience, except i would eliminate the words “white” and “brown”

Maybe, but I never see any posts or fox news editorials that start with:
Are you f-ing kidding me ? Americans paying cash for trumps golf game.
Indeed. It’s hard to picture getting worked up in the same way about it as you get worked up about 500 to an ilkegsl.
Honestly: are you equally angry about both, or does the cash 4 Mexicans really bug u more?
Cuz honestly, trumps golf bill riles the living shit out of me, the fucking hypocrisy after criticizing Obama’s occasional game. And the cash for illegals is bothersome, but not in the same ballpark.

Seriously, I am equally angry about them. One is blatant abuse of taxpayer money. The other is abuse of taxpay money, disguised as “doing good”
So, which thief is worse, the one who slaps you in the face and takes your wallet or the one who puts your arm around you, comforts you and then pickpockets your wallet all the while you think he is being nice ?

I suppose on a “dollar per thief” level, the Trump one is worse, though.
And my point still stands that “just because I think one is wrong, doesn’t mean the other is not wrong” holds true.
Even if they are different “levels”, it is not illogical or in consistent to be opposed to both.

You sound like a pretty reasonable consistent dude.
Most Republicans I chat with could give two shits about trumps big golf bill, but would lose their fucking minds over brown people cash, even if it were a total if $500 total tax dollars
April 17, 2020 at 4:57 PM #816601sdduuuudeParticipantAnd just you saying “pay 500 to an illegal” bothers me alot.
I’m not saying I think we should deport all the Mexicans or build the wall or even that they are, philosophically criminals – but the fact of the matter is they have broken the law. The gov is supposed to support and enforce the law of the land and if someone has broken the law, they should be punished by the “law” (aka the government). Not paid. Yes, it is deeply disturbing. Trump golfing, also deeply disturbing.
Lehman Brothers bailout – also deeply disturbing.
Adding on – even a socialist should cringe at this because if you take the US as a society that pays taxes to pool resources for the common good, why would we include those that aren’t in the club ? Why wouldn’t those funds go to help those in the social group that paid in the money in the first place.

Lehman bros. Never got a bailout.
I guess I’m not really a socialist. I think I’m a Buddhist humanist.
But be real…the trump thing is disturbing, but the illegals makes you ANGRY.
April 17, 2020 at 5:13 PM #816603CoronitaParticipantThe way I wish things would have been handled is make this more voluntary versus compulsory through all taxpayers.
For example, it would be good if the state setup a general slush fund to help unemployed people who are legal residence and another one for those that are illegal.
For every dollar you contribute to this slush fund, you get
$0.60 worth of state tax credit up to a ceiling. That way, people who are financially able to can participate, get some sort of benefit from it as an encouragement, and those that can’t can opt out.I’m kinda indifferent to all this government spending since nothing surprises me. No biggie.
