Everyone I know was polled too.
If you have an address, you’ll get polled. You may choose to ignore it, but you will receive the census questionaire in 2010.[/quote]At a $1billion price tag for us taxpayers, I better π

Continuing the hijack…Well considering it’s actually required under the constitution to determine congressional seats, we all better. π

February 27, 2009 at 6:39 PM #356755AnonymousGuestI’m assuming the majority on this topic is from CA. So, isn’t CA going through some tax hikes, i.e., sales tax, gas tax, and income tax?
Isn’t this because of the over spending in entitlements, state projects, etc? And, wouldn’t CA be highest taxed state in the country?
How are you guys going to survive, when tourism fall because of the high taxes? I’m sure CA would raise the car rental tax, hotel tax and whatever leisure taxes. Do you feel there will be a trickle effect? So, do you think that the $870B “spending” bill will actually be a recovery?
What about bailing out folks in foreclosure? Who will be paying for this?
I guess I’m trying to understand the big picture in all this spending.
Thanks!
