Certain change is so inexorable that it cannot be stopped.
This is mainly an issue of demographics. The Hispanification of the American West and, California in particular, is unstoppable.
We have the choice of embracing the Hispanic population and help them succeed. Throwing roadblocks in their way and forcing them to assimilate while not legalizing them only elicits a negative adverse reaction and impoverish us all.
These American flag issues are nothing new and will come up periodically when people get riled up and get the press coverage.

Are you volunteering? Just curious, what have you done to help? I’m only asking because you mentioned these lofty ideas about we should be doing this and that. How much of this are you doing? Volunteer much at the food bank?
