Advice with upgrading an old house

Hi all,

I’d appriciate your advice on the following.
I recently purchased an old house & plan to do the following:

– Replace all windows.
– Remove all popcorn from the ceiling.
– Paint the entire interior.
– Put new carpets in all bedrooms.
– Put ceramic tiles everywhere else.
– Replace the kitchen cabinets & counter top.
– Replace the bathroom cabinets & vanities.
– Replace all toilets.

I plan to hire the individual contractors & coordinate them (instead of hiring a general contractor).

– What’s the best order to do the above (i.e. do what first and what last) ?
– Any other thoughts & advices will be appreciated.
