Participant“Electricity will not be rationed because of lack of oil. The previous Dear Leader, before he departed, already caused oil to skyrocket in price so oil is hardly even used in electricity generation.”
Au contraire, Dear Brian, because the current dear leader wants cap and trade, the government will not need to ration electricity- we will self-ration due to the high prices. Companies are being put out of business in the United States for many reasons: high taxes, health care and soaring energy prices being some of them. Losing businesses will do nothing to help the economy in the long term, but on the bright side, there should be less traffic grid lock.

ParticipantI think Skyranch is trying to make the point about the amenities and upgrades and the night view. For old timers in San Diego County, Santee will always have an image problem. For those still in the market, it may be worth a second look. The schools are not bad and it is freeway close to most places. Like flu, the sticker shock for that area is a hard pill to swallow. Another issue is the size of the houses. I am not sure the builder did their homework when they put them there at those prices. However, if the builders are selling the models, they might be willing to make some close out deals for those who do not worry about a Santee address.
